Great and concise advice. A very similar protocol worked for me when the Candida seemed out of control, was so debilitating.

Hello Darryl, I am starting a candida, alkaline diet today, consisting mostly of juicing, I know my hormones are messed up, extremely overweight, inflammation in the body particularly the joints and poor energy levels and sleep. I am excited for the future and desire to reverse the aging process with in me that I agreed to in the past. Wish me success and I will follow your advice and others in this quest. Love and Light, Skye

Hey Darryl, I am feeling really good after reading your wonderful blog :). For years, I was plagued by chronic yeast infections, including but not limited to: rashes, weight gain, insomnia, acne, constipation, chronic fatigue, depression, sensitivity to chemicals, you name it. But now, i have a question to you that in my country i couldn’t find Nystatin powder, its in suspension form. Should it be oky if i take it ?

  5. Shanthi says:

Dear Darryl, Can I have coconut water while I am having the candida diet.

  6. Loca says:

Cannot eat – All fruit, fruit juices, however earlier in the article you recommend Oranges and Lemons. Also, Cannot eat – coconut, but later you suggest coconut oil.

    • Hi Loca, I have updated the Candidiasis page recently, please read it again. No sweet fruits. Only some fruits that are not sweet, or unripe fruit like a helf ripe papaya – Eat only one small portion a day. Fresh Coconut has sugar. Coconut Oil has none.

Am grateful of your information. I have suffered for mouth thrush for so long, but i think your meals guidance will help me fight the disease.

    • Ereng, before going to bed every night, brush your teeth with a paste of pure turmeric & virgin coconut oil. Rinse lightly spitting most out, but leave traces of it still your mouth, since both are antibacterial & antifungals and will do their work on the thrush as you sleep.

Hi Darryl, Thanks for sharing! I’m still confused about the candida meal and supplements. Would it be possible to give more details? Any recommendation for the vitamin E intake? I am in despair! My anxiety with this diet is so painful! I have a tiny refrigerator and cannot depend on it. Little money and being confused from all that, I can not have food. I have reactions from water, my lips start to peel. I found 1 type of water that is costly.
What is good for breakfast with my constipation? I can not eat chicken, fish, meat it constipates me. Any specific veggies that work best? What form of protein can I have?

  12. Priyanka says:

Hi I’m vegan and have leaky gut type reaction as and when I eat candida friendly food, I also get pain all over my body and swelling too. I am intolerant to almost all food, when I fast I feel good, but how long can I fast for, I need to have food, so I have to fix my gut issues. What is your advice on my diet, which grain should I eat? In your diet plan coconut is not included, does that mean we cannot have coconut water, meat or milk and can only have coconut oil?

Hello Darryl, I just wanted to ask you if are millets safe for consumption while going gluten free? I heard somewhere that even millets contain certain varieties of gluten?
